The objective – leverage the Olympics and gain valuable placement
Weston was looking to gain significant floor space in national grocery retailers by using their 2010 Winter Olympic sponsorship as a trojan horse.
The thinking — make it fun and evoke the Olympic Spirit in-store
Artisan Complete created an entire campaign using four winter Olympic sports as thematic inspiration for intelligent traditional bread racking systems. The resulting work more than doubled the allotted floor space available to Weston.
The results — more floor space, increased sales lift and an International Display of the Year
This campaign was widely adopted and received significant retailer support and compliance. The compliance led to large retail sales lift and culminated in this program being awarded the 2010 International Display of the Year Award as awarded by POPAI.
