Bluenotes – In-Store Interactive Jukebox
Objective
Bluenotes was seeking an interactive experience that would engage its youth target segment in-store, allowing them to influence the store environment while finding out more about various offers and promotions. Simultaneously, the retailer was seeking ways to rationalize its costs for music programming.
Solution
- Artisan Live built a customized in-store interactive jukebox solution that enabled shoppers to browse hundreds of songs and select which ones were played in the store.
- The touch-screen solution was built into a customized, branded enclosure and placed at the back of the store, encouraging shoppers to move deeper into the retail location.
- Bluenotes was able to define the available library in advance by region, allowing for variations in music genre preferences.
- The all-in-one solution included the cost of music licensing rights at favourable rates.
- At various intervals, the screens could be programmed to display custom Bluenotes content.
Result
Based on the success of the initial pilot stores the solution has been approved for all new store locations. Bluenotes was able to increase dwell times and engagement within its store while simultaneously reducing music licensing costs. Data generated through shopper interactions provided valuable feedback for the brand on regional music preferences.
