Goodbye Dignity, Hello Movember
A lot of laughs around the office today as a number of us (including yours truly) look like the cast of a mid-eighties after school special about puberty, rocking some pretty gnarly looking “teen-staches”.
Yep, its that time of the year again, the month of Movember, where our razors only need to do 80% of their usual job. And although it will be the source of numerous jokes for the remainder of the month, the purpose is far from a joke. This annual event started in Australia and now circles the globe in an effort to raise awareness and funding for research towards men’s health issues such as prostate cancer and depression.

Our good friends over at Precor/PKG are supporting this MO-vement, donating $5 from the purchase of each “Movember” sleeve directly to the charitable cause. Their efforts are being supported in-store with a display designed and produced by (shameless self-promotion, you’ll know if your a frequent visitor I try to avoid this on the blog) Artisan.

Please visit our friends at Precor/PKG here and donate to their team. In return we promise to post pictures throughout the month of our “staches”.
By the way, to our many friends in the US and around the world here’s a bit of a challenge. After four days Canada leads in donations having raised more than $5 Million dollars! Australia follows with $3.7 Million. Check out the rankings here.
